Why Brooklyn? Deciding to move here in 2011 (and stay for awhile), had a lot to do with wanting to retain my appreciation for New York without really being affected by the hype surrounding the "Big Apple". Brooklyn's appeal is unlike any other city I've been to.
You really don't have to look outside the borough for anything. I mean, every neighborhood in BK has its own unique identity thanks to its cultural diversity. Although now you may have to look a little deeper to see it, it's still there. Brooklyn has an edge that I just want to hang on to.
